Hey all, Emma and Vicky here!
Since enduring the pain of applying for many, many, MANY legal applications – from vacation schemes, training contracts, insight days – we decided we both needed more experience and that being a law student doesn’t come with much guidance on what we’re even meant to be doing outside of our endless exams and coursework. Sometimes it honestly feels like we’re just floating along in a sea of deadlines, applications, revision, etc. and nobody is even helping us identify what we should even been looking to do.
We’re adults, we’re law students, but even we need SOME support!
And since it’s too late for us, we’re going to be helping YOU – as well as hopefully becoming even more organised (UGH organisation, the bane of our existence!). And so, we’re going to be posting about upcoming applications, ways to become more organised, tips and tricks for revision, as well as some food for thought regarding legal matters, both past and present.
Vicky is even going to be doing a mini pupillage at the Albion Chambers soon and shall be blogging her experience. Hopefully that’ll make taking these kinds of opportunities less nerve-wracking!
Emma, on the other hand, is participating in a segment on a radio with her fellow leads of our universities Anti-Death Penalty Pro-Bono group and shall post about the experience of taking part in a radio discussion about a topic close to her heart.
Let’s all pray these events go well!
